Hello everyone, welcome to the recent session from our team. In this session, we have tried to cover another one of the most important topics is The Agricultural Revolution list.
So, we will try to understand how questions have been asked about this topic. Let’s move to our first question, which was asked in IBPS Mains 2019-2020.

Now let us look at some other revolutions on the list
The first revolution is the Green revolution, it is related to food grain production and its term was coined by William Goud in 1968. The father of the green revolution in the world is Norman Ernest Borlaug and in India its M S Swaminathan. We have to keep in mind the difference between the World and India asked in the question.
Now the second one to be kept in mind is the White revolution. It is related to milk production, and it is also known as operation flood.
The father of the white revolution is Dr Verghese Kurien, also known as Milk Man of India and on his birth anniversary, we celebrate National milk day that’s on the 26th of November.
Now let’s see the third one Golden revolution which is related to fruits/overall development of horticulture/honey production. The related personalities are Nirpakh Tutej and Dr. K L Chaddha (Father of modern horticulture).
The next sweet revolution is related to honey production and the yellow revolution to oilseed production. The Father of Oilseed production is Sam Pitroda.
Next is the Grey revolution which is related to manure and fertilizer.
The Blue Revolution is related to fish production and the father of the blue revolution is Dr Arun Krishnan and Dr Harilal Chaudhari.
Also, the Round revolution is for potato production and the Parbhani revolution is for okra production, also the Brown revolution is for leather and cocoa production.
Now Red revolution is related to meat/tomato and the related personality is Vishal Tewari.
Coming to next, Silver revolution is to egg production and the credited person for this revolution is Indira Gandhi.
Silver fibre revolution is to cotton (Remember that Silver fibre and Silver revolution are two different ones)
Similarly, the golden fibre revolution is to jute production (Remember that Golden fibre and Golden revolution are two different ones)
Next is the pink revolution, which is related to pharmaceutical/prawns/onion production, and a related personality is Durgesh Patel.
Also, the black revolution is related to petroleum production and the Important rainbow revolution is to the overall development of the agriculture sector.

The green gold revolution, recently in news, is related to bamboo, which is also known as green gold.
At Last, they relate the protein revolution to Agriculture production increase through technology-driven farming, we also know it as 2nd green revolution.
