Planofix includes Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA), a synthetic plant hormone that belongs to the group of auxins. The entire chemical composition comprises:

  • Active Ingredient: a-Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA) – 4.5% w/w
  • Solvent: Iso-propanol
  • Emulsifier Non-ionic surfactants
  • stabilizers, and preservatives to prolong shelf life and efficiency

Method of Application for Different Crops

  1. Mango Apply Planofix spray at 10-20 ppm for 45-60 days following the time when the fruit was set to stop fruit loss and improve retention of the fruit.
  2. Tomato Use Planofix between 10 and 25 ppm at the time of flowering stage to allow for the best fruit setting and to reduce the loss of flowers.
  3. Brinjal Apply 10-20 ppm Planofix spray at the beginning of the flowering stage to encourage higher fruit retention.
  4. Citrus (Orange lemon): Spray 10-25 ppm after flowering to limit early fruit drop.
  5. Pomegranate Utilize 10-20ppm at the beginning of fruiting to encourage uniform fruit development.
  6. Apple Use 15-25ppm about 30 days before the time of harvest to avoid fruit drop.
  7. Grapes Sprinkle 10-15ppm throughout the development of the berry to increase the size of the berries and ensure uniformity.
  8. Pineapple: Use 20-30 ppm 2 months before flowering to trigger the synchronized flowering.
  9. Chilli Apply 10-20ppm in the period of flowering to stop flower loss and to boost the set of fruit.
  10. Cotton Use 10-25ppm before flowering and in the early stages of boll development to help improve boll retention.
  11. Papaya Utilize 15-20ppm at the beginning of fruiting to ensure uniform size and development.
  12. Guava Sprinkle 10-20 ppm in the early stages of flowering and fruiting for greater fruit set and retention.

  • Avoid over-application because it could lead to an abnormal growth.
